Teaching Assistant

Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant Required

CER are currently recruiting for a primary school in Warrington who require a teaching assistant to work between the Year 1 and Year 2 classes as a general learning support. You will be required to assist with small group learning interventions as well as support some children on a 1-1 basis with reading / literacy.

The school are looking for someone who is approachable, patient and has the ability to form solid relationships with colleagues and pupils. The behaviour of the child can be challenging at times so it would be part of your role to support the class teacher with implementing behaviour strategies. Previous experience of working within a key stage 1 setting would be preferable but not essential.

The school has a fantastic team of experienced staff who are welcoming and supportive. It has on-site parking and is easily accessible via public transport.

The role is full time and is due to start ASAP.
